Well we wrapped up the “Revive” series last night and it was amazing! Michael’s sermon dealt with faith and Christ’s unconditional love for us, he loves us no matter what we do! Make sure you come out this Friday for “Fluid Friday” night 1 for amazing games and fun! New Lockout Worship Pics!

Youth Lockout - March 14-15, 2008 No that is not a typo! This is not a lock-in! Arrive at DeSoto Hills Baptist Church @ 6:30pm on Friday, March 14. After that, you will not see much of the church for the rest of the night. The night will include indoor “soccer,” boogie bowling, late night worship, and a whole lot more. This is 18 and 1/2 straight hours of pure sugar, caffeine, and fun! Bring your friends because no one will want to miss this night!

COST: $25/person & have a MEDICAL RELEASE FORM on file

  Great night in the attic, the H2O service was kicking and kicking HARD! Remember Michael’s three guidelines this week as we all work to “tame our tounge” check these guidelines before you open your mouth 1. Is it true? 2. Is it necessary? 3. Is it spoken out of love? Certainly food for thought on this valentine day! If you were unable to come last night WE MISSED YOU, we did however pack the house with over 100 people (103 to be exact) we hope to see you all next week with a friend! Here is the medical release form that you should have ready to be notarized on Wednesday, Feb 13.  Open the form with the free Adobe Reader and you can click on the blanks and type in your information. Print out the forms and bring it to the church to be notarized.

This is a meeting for those parents/leaders on the youth team.

The meeting will focus mainly on Fluid Fridays and the Lockout.

PARENTS: Your help is always wanted, just let me know what you are available to do or what you would like to do!! Thanks!

A few of the things we will be doing will include: indoor “soccer”, boogie bowling, and laser tag. To keep you running, we will pump you full of all the sugar and caffeine you can handle!!

Got no Friday night plans? Then come on over to DeSoto Hills Baptist Church from 7pm till 10pm for H2O: Fluid Friday. There will be video games, board games, air hockey, foosball, etc. There will also be plenty of opportunities to lose to Bucy in the ancient Chinese art of ping-pong! Food and drinks will be for sale, so bring your left over lunch money from the week!!
