Family Feud

This is H2O: Fluid Friday with a twist! Tonight from 7pm to 10pm is Family Feud night here at DeSoto Hills Baptist Church.

You will need to sign up in teams of 5-7 people; create a team name and dress accordingly!

You don’t have a team?? Don’t worry, come on out and you will be added to a team. No one will be turned away!!

Got no Friday night plans? Then come on over to DeSoto Hills Baptist Church from 7pm till 10pm for H2O: Fluid Friday. There will be video games, board games, air hockey, foosball, etc. There will also be plenty of opportunities to lose to Bucy in the ancient Chinese art of ping-pong! Food and drinks will be for sale, so bring your left over lunch money from the week!!

It’s more fun then chill’n at home!!

Come join us for a great night of fun and worship. Check out some of the videos to get an idea of what an average H2O night is like. Bring your friends; everyone is welcome!

Everyone going on student life tour needs to have their medical release form signed and turned into the office by Wednesday, February 13!! Reminder:Friday, February 15 - You need to be at DeSoto Hills Church @ 4:45pm with some money for dinner (fast-food).  BRING YOUR BIBLE, PEN & PAPER too!!Saturday, February 16 - You need to be at DeSoto Hills by 7:00am and you will need your money for lunch at the mall. 

Due to the possible winter storm coming we are going to go ahead and cancel Fluid Friday and the Middle School girls sleepover tonight.

In the future, we will hold to a policy that if the school system closes the schools or release early due to bad weather when we will also cancel youth activities for that night.

Due to Spring Break we will not be meeting up in the Attic @ church for H2O. HOWEVER, we WILL be meeting over at Strikezone Bowling Lanes from 6 - 7:30pm for some bowling & pizza. Be there by 5:45pm if possible so we can get a good idea on numbers!

The COST is $7.00 (that includes 2 games of bowling & shoes)

I will be providing the pizza & drinks

  Incredible night at the NEW H2O service in the youth attic! We hope to see you next week for another great week of the revive series. Don’t forget to check out the H2O Kiosk in the attic for t-shirts, stickers, locker posters, materials, bibles, and more. The kiosk will soon have even more items so keep an eye out for that, it will be open every Wednesday night around service times. Here’s the lineup!

Well it is official! Wednesday night youth worship is no longer called Boost. Boost is a nutritional energy drink people drink in their “golden years” of life. The new name for Wednesday nights in the Attic will from henceforth be called, H₂O. Water is a basic need we all have in common; much like our common need for a relationship with Jesus Christ. I’m also a former chemist, so anything chemistry related is cool with me. But seriously, my desire for you is that Wednesday nights here at DeSoto Hills Baptist Church will be a refreshing place for you to come and worship the Lord our God while hearing His Word proclaimed. You don’t have to face this world alone! Please join us in the Attic on Wednesday nights for H₂O and “Quench your thirst!”
