This Fluid Friday is called Board Game Madness because it will be all about the board games. Bring your favorite board games from home for everyone to enjoy…who knows we may end up playing the world’s largest game of Cranium!!

Got no Friday night plans? Then come on over to DeSoto Hills Baptist Church from 7pm till 10pm for H2O: Fluid Friday. There will be video games, board games, air hockey, foosball, etc. There will also be plenty of opportunities to lose to Bucy in the ancient Chinese art of ping-pong! Food and drinks will be for sale, so bring your left over lunch money from the week!!

The next Fluid Friday will be FRIDAY, APRIL 25 from 7-10pm.

This Fluid Friday will be FAMILY FEUD night. Make a team (5-7 people) or just show up and be put on a team to play Family Feud. Not a night you will want to miss!

This Sunday will have a little different lineup:
There will be NO Sunday School!

9:00am - 10:00am There will be a breakfast served at the church
10:00am - 11:00am Adult Choir Spring Musical

Youth are invited to help in High Five and with the children during this time… See Michael Bucy or Erin Rogers if you wish to help out with the children.

All high school students (including the up and coming high schoolers…that’s the 8th graders) are invited to play a little Ultimate frisbee at the church!

It will be just your regular pick up game with some water provided.

We will start at 3pm and play till we run out of people!! Come for as long or short as you like!

Prom is just around the corner. What better way to impress your date than by showing off some real dance moves (And I’m not talking about what this generation calls “dancing”).Tonight from 7 - 9 pm we (mainly Jamie Carver) will teaching a few basic styles of dance (salsa, swing, etc.) up in the Attic at DeSoto Hills Baptist Church.

Bring your two left feet and have some fun!

The youth choir will be traveling to sing in Jackson, MS!

As you may now notice we do video our Wednesday night services from time to time and this video was done during our 6 week series, REVIVE! This just happens to be Michael Bucy’s first series and our first video of the 2008 year. I really liked the lighting scheme we had going for this particular series, the white screen on the back wall with the LED color lighting really made the stage sort of pop. I also decided to edit a more stylish intro than we normally produce, the keyboard intro was done in the studio during post production, it was not playing before the actual service as it appears on the video.
