Well it WAS “See You At The Pole” day and we hope you all got up in time to be at your school praying for your classmates. We had a great night here in the attic and look forward to all God has in store here in Desoto County and beyond. Michael did a wonderful job on his message and showed a solemn reminder (video) of a church shooting following a youth rally back a few years ago. Here’s what happened in the attic last night!

We have a huge night of GAMES, PIZZA, FINGER FOODS, LIVE MUSIC, AND HANG TIME. The 5th Quarter will be held October 10th after the Desoto Central home football game. The main purpose for this event is for you to have a great place to bring your friends and just CHILL OUT! We will have the “Chris Layton Band” (marc, casey & jenn are in that band) in the attic performing some great worship music (rocking out really) so you’re gonna want to check that out as well. ALSO… Just wanted to remind you that I will have some breakfast items here at the church Wednesday morning from 6am to 7:30am for ANYONE who wants something to eat before going to the “Poles.”

IT WAS A PACKED HOUSE, 99 people dawned the attic last night for an incredible worship and celebration experience. We had an amazing study of evolution provided by our very own M Bucy, and of course the band rocked our faces off. We also played our FAVORITE game a little Gorilla/Man/Gun, OH YEAH! Last night we studied evolution and it’s theories, Michael gave us some amazing facts and ammunition for stating your case and understanding what we believe. The video’s and charts were great reminders that we were created by an awesome God. The band was kicking WITHOUT Beau I might add, and of course we played a nasty tasting game (thank you Lizzy Gray) and we pulled the stupid video lever a few times as well. Here’s what we did!
