February 11th, 2010Hmm TOUGH parable last night, for SURE. I’d have to say being able to forgive someone who’s wronged us in one way or another is a HARD thing to do sometimes, and God’s “story” last night is a constant reminder to love your neighbor through thick and thin. Show mercy and compassion, learn to love even when it’s hard. Casey was back on guitar tonight after a three week hiatus, we appreciate Caleb’s willingness to fill in, he’ll still be on stage rockin the acoustic! The stupid video lever (7100) newer more improved model, made it’s debut last night with some killer snow mishaps, look for more lever pulls in the near future. GREAT crowd last night, it was so good to see all those faces praising and worshiping the one true God, I can’t wait for next week. Casey will be heading back into town after a long three week break, I’d like to thank Caleb Rushton for stepping up the plate and filling in on electric, he’ll be back on acoustic next week, rocking on the back riser, we appreciate him tons! We had another great parable study last night, I defiantly want to be the brother that steps up to the plate and does the right thing, even if it’s something I don’t particularly want to do. January 28th, 2010 WOW! What a powerful picture of brotherly love, the video images are still lingering in my mind this morning as I sit here and write this blog. Last night’s parable is an incredible reminder of the suffering around us everyday, I will definatly be more agressive in my efforts to help those around me in their time of need from now on. January 21st, 2010 Night 3, The Baron Fig Tree, pretty powerful video on this one, I like the spin on the story, it’s an incredible reminder of how we should have mercy and give people a second chance. We had some band changes tonight, Casey was out so our very own Caleb Rushton took the reigns of electric guitar tonight and will be doing so for the next two weeks. We also had Jesse Lugar on acoustic guitar, his last Wednesday night here in the states, he’ll be heading back to Peru this week and we’re all gonna miss him and wish him the best. October 29th, 2009 Well it was great to have so many churches join us last night for the guest speaker. If you were unable to be in the attic, we had two churches join our students (around 160 people) for the guest muslim who converted to christianity. For security reasons we will not reveal his name but it was definatly a memorable evening and his story is a powerful reminder of the incredible freedoms we enjoy here in the United States. WOW! I love the story of Daniel, what an incredible reminder of how God can use someone who is CONSTANTLY tested and has their faith put on the line, he never compromised, and became one of the most powerful people in the kingdom, along with his friends Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. I hope you’ll be back next week as we welcome a special missionary guest who’s had his faith tested today in a modern world, you’re not going to want to miss it! Here’s what happened last night!

Well last night was another wonderful chapter in our current series, (A Light In The Darkness) Michael talked (rather swiftly) about the life of Nehemiah and his couragous life, the good, the bad, and everything in between. Well the crowd was a little low last night, I’m assuming many of you were at home preparing for your exams and finishing all those last minute projects to complete your first nine weeks. Operation Christmas Child

Tonight we had one goal, OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD (with a small ice cream party to follow) you all KNOW how I love an ice cream party! Tonight we enjoyed a short but incredible worship service and then all students and adults alike pitched in to assemble the operation christmas child boxes, after we stacked the boxes in the grand hall we all enjoyed some fellowship and ICE CREAM. If you are interested in filling a box for operation christmas child you can find information in the grand hall. Next week we’ll start our new series so invite your friends, it’s going to be a great study! Here’s what we did tonight!
